A series of reissues just wouldn't be complete without Diamond's first ever stompbox, so here's the Memory Lane Reimagined edition of the Diamond Digital BBD Delay. While the foundations of this ever-popular and much loved pedal remain untouched, this model has been given a few welcome upgrades to make things even smoother. The much smaller housing takes up far less of your precious pedalboard space while, inside, a fully reincarnated Jr. circuit delivers up to 1,200 milliseconds of tasty, modulated repeats, doubling the delay time of the original. The signal-to-noise ratio has also been reduced, and this, together with the expanded frequency response assure you of even better delay sound.

The Memory Lane Series: A Much-Loved Classic in a New Jacket

In terms of effects, you get the pick of modern, warm and vintage-style delay and, via the footswitch on the right, you can engage the tap-tempo function to adjust the delay speed in real-time. Via the same footswitch, the auto-divide feature can be triggered to halve or double the tempo in the blink of an eye - and all of that comes on top of three different delay modes. In Geezer mode, you bypass the secondary footswitch and essentially gain access to the original pedal - pure and untouched. In Trails mode, you can use the Feedback pot to determine how long it takes for the delay to die-off. And, to finish, both footswitches can be flipped from latching to momentary mode so you hit and hold a switch at just the right moment and keep things really interesting.
